Usman Khan was a model ex-prisoner, a poster boy for Cambridge University’s Learning Together programme, aimed at helping prisoners and ex-inmates gain qualifications to help them in later life.
Attending a Learning Together conference in 2019, Khan embarked on a killing spree that was halted by other prisoners putting their lives on the line to protect the public before the police arrived.
